The core project of the Universal Beijing Resort is fully completed, and the Universal Studios theme park will be unveiled in May

Beijing Universal Studios Theme Park, Beijing Universal City Avenue, Universal Studios Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel are all scheduled to debut in May this year.
On January 15th, according to Xinhua News Agency, the core project of Universal Studios Beijing’s theme park and resort area in Beijing’s sub-center cultural and tourist area has been fully completed. Digital system landing and tourist experience testing, cast and crew training rehearsals, and service security personnel training, and other comprehensive operation preparation stages.
The entire resort area will include 37 ride entertainment facilities and theme attractions, 24 performances, 80 food and beverage outlets and 30 retail outlets. Among them, Beijing Universal Studios Theme Park, Beijing Universal City Avenue, Universal Studios Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel are all scheduled to debut in May this year. Specific to the Beijing Universal Studios theme park, it will be divided into seven themed scenic spots, such as Kung Fu Panda’s Land of the World, Transformers Base, Minions Paradise, Harry Potter’s Wizarding World, and Jurassic World Nubra Island, Hollywood and Future Water World.
According to the official website of Beijing Universal Resort, Beijing Universal Resort is developed, constructed and operated by Beijing International Resorts Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. and Comcast NBC Universal. A joint venture company jointly owned by Universal Theme Parks and Resorts has 70% and 30% equity respectively. The Universal Theme Park is hosted by Steven Spielberg, who has won three Oscars as a creative consultant. It is known for its immersive experience, and its technologically advanced attractions are based on thrilling film and television dramas.
Among them, Shouhuan Investment is a platform company specially set up to invest in Beijing Universal Resort, which is a holding company of Beijing Capital Travel Group; Comcast NBC Universal wholly owns Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Japan Studios, and authorized the operation of Universal Studios Singapore through a license agreement.
