The Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has released 4 archaeological trails to further enrich the cultural and tourism trail system

Recently, in order to open up a new path for the display, dissemination, and utilization of archaeological achievements, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has linked archaeological resource projects with the ability to open up to the outside world, tourism development functions, or potential in the province into a chain, and released four "Guangdong Archaeological Journeys", including the Pearl River Delta Archaeological Journey, East Guangdong Archaeological Journey, West Guangdong Archaeological Journey, and North Guangdong Archaeological Journey; A total of 24 important archaeological resource sites in 12 cities above prefecture level were involved, which lasted from the early Paleolithic to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, spanning hundreds of thousands of years.
It is understood that the "Youjing" system is an innovative development model in Guangdong Province to promote the deep integration of culture and tourism. Guangdong Province launched the creation of the "Guangdong Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural Heritage Trail" and "Guangdong Provincial Historical and Cultural Trail" in 2019, with 114 routes announced. After this release, the total number of tourist routes in Guangdong Province has increased to 118.
